School of Artificial Intelligence Holds Inaugural Undergraduate Admissions Kick-off Meeting

To effectively manage the first undergraduate admissions and strengthen talent cultivation, the School of Artificial Intelligence held an admissions kick-off meeting on April 1st. Mao Zhaoyong (Party Secretary), school office staff, and team admissions leaders attended, with Xu Xiaofeng (Deputy Party Secretary) chairing.

At the meeting, Mao Zhaoyong emphasized the critical importance of the first undergraduate admissions, calling it the primary gateway for moral education, the starting point for talent cultivation, and the lifeline for the school’s long-term development. He urged all staff to strictly adhere to regulations and ensure efficient, standardized admissions as a core task for the school’s new beginning.

Xu Xiaofeng outlined the annual admissions plan, specifying timelines and requirements for promotion, information, faculty recommendations, and materials, tailored to the new school’s specialties. He detailed plans for promotional videos, presentations, and expert outreach, highlighting unmanned systems, AI advantages, employment, and team support. He stressed creating professional, engaging content for high schoolers, incorporating diverse scenarios and interactions.

Teams will fully implement the school’s plan, highlighting unique features and collaborating to attract quality students. This meeting laid a solid foundation for the first undergraduate admissions. The school will now refine plans, strengthen implementation, and prepare thoroughly to ensure a high-quality start through high-quality admissions.
