To gain a deeper understanding of graduates’ growth, achievements, and development aspirations, and further enhance the quality of postgraduate training and management services, on March 29, the Institute of Unmanned Systems Technology organized a symposium for 2026 postgraduate graduates. Institute Dean Bai Junqiang, Party Secretary Mao Zhaoyong, counselors Li Yang and Han Kai, and graduate representatives attended the meeting. They engaged in in-depth discussions on talent cultivation, scientific research practice, and career development. The meeting was chaired by Xu Xiaofeng, Deputy Party Secretary of the Institute.

At the symposium, graduate representatives shared their growth experiences and insights based on their academic and research experiences at the university. Everyone unanimously stated that with the systematic training and excellent research environment provided by the institute, their professional abilities, research literacy, and comprehensive qualities have significantly improved. Meanwhile, students, based on practical considerations, offered suggestions on curriculum optimization, allocation of research resources, construction of practical platforms, and employment guidance services. The on-site discussion atmosphere was frank and enthusiastic.

The attending leaders carefully listened to the graduates’ speeches and responded to and discussed relevant issues one by one. Bai Junqiang fully affirmed the graduates’ long-term contributions to the institute’s development and congratulated the students on successfully completing their studies. Mao Zhaoyong encouraged everyone to uphold their ideals and beliefs in future development, cultivate a strong sense of patriotism, continuously improve their ability to solve complex engineering problems, and realize their life’s value by serving major national strategic needs.

This symposium is a pragmatic measure by the institute to listen to students’ voices and improve educational work. Through face-to-face communication, it further fostered consensus between faculty and students, providing valuable reference for continuously optimizing the postgraduate training system and enhancing the quality of talent cultivation.
